Vacations are short in Japan
These pretty sugary sweets are used to decorate graves during O-Bon. It is no big secret that holidays in Japan are short. According to a survey by Japan Probe, Japanese take an average of 8 paid vacation days per year. Well I just hope that these folks are as fond of their jobs as I am of mine, because I'm taking my 3 O-Bon holidays from tomorrow ...!
