I think I am starting to like fall after all, lol, especially on a warm nice autumn day like today.
About a month ago my Japanese friends said they sensed that fall was near, and they were right: The summer ended abruptly and it got chilly literally overnight. But at the time of their predictions it was still hot & sunny and I inquired on how they knew the new season was approaching faster than usual ...? They pointed to the high sky and puffy clouds and I was like ... aaaah.
Hokkaidoites are in tune with nature and their expert eye effortlessly recognizes subtle changes in air texture or cloud shape. They also transcend the everchanging seasons without the slightest sign of discomfort. And I just learned a lesson in nature from my Dosanko friends ;)
