This is and has always been my favorite soup curry shop:� Sokochikara Sri Lanka Soup Curry at the west entrance of Nakajima Park.� I used to go there on a regular basis to get my dosage of spicy stuff.� That was three, four years ago and at that time I lived at the east exit of Nakajima Park.� I just had to cross the park to get to my favorite eatery, how convenient!!� Ok, enough of nostalgia, lol, here are the facts:� There are two types of soups (traditional and tomato/leek base) and ten kinds of choices as far as the main dish is concerned:� chicken, lamb, pork, hamburger and vegetables only.� They can each be ordered with additional servings of vegetables.� Lunch is served from 11:30 to 3 PM and lunch starts from 780 yen.� There’s a� lunch set for 1000 yen that includes lassi and a salad.� Sri Lanka curry even has its original beer!� I had lamb soup curry (traditional base) and apart from the lamb it contained potatoes, eggplant, carrots and cabbage.� As a topping I ordered the half-boiled egg, a real treat.� You can choose how spicy you want your stuff� on a scale from 1 to 100.� 1 to 30 is mild, more than that will for sure make you perspire!� South 11, West 6.� Street car stop Nakajima Park.� Phone 011-552 4900
