After years of struggling and months of delay Burj Dubai was finally opened. At 828 m it is the world’s tallest building. I saw it three times unfinished in three consecutive years, saw it growing and getting taller and taller. Interesting detail: Its final name is not Burj Dubai, as it was renamed to Burj Khalifa in honor of the top sheikh (leader) of neighboring Abu Dhabi who came to the tower’s rescue and secured completion.
