I took Atomo to the vet this morning to get him his annual feline leukemia vaccine. He cried in the car all the way and kept meowing in the waiting room. Vets in Japan are overcrowded (same as hospitals for humans) and we had to wait a full hour. Once in the examination room he calmed down quite a bit and turned into a really well-behaved boy! Didn't say a word, or a meow for that matter, when the vet checked his mouth, ears, organs and eventually gave him the live-saving shot. Smart kitty! And I have come to appreciate the wonders of modern medicine. Atomo has been living, eating, playing with Luisa who is FeLV positive, and he didn't catch the virus. :)
