I was awed by how many luxury cars I spotted in Hong Kong. Porsches are on top of the list, but BMWs and Mercedes follow closely. I stopped counting on the 2nd day! A hongkonger at my hotel claimed that this was the city with most Rolls-Royces in the world, but I saw by far more Porsches. Hong Kong smells like money. (And it's a good smell too!)
Hong Kong is a city of rich, and it is also a city of night owls. Look at the picture I took around midnight (above): In the background you can see a busy fruit stand. Shops, stores, shopping centers and malls officially close at 11 PM, but one day I was shopping on Nathan Road (large shopping street) at a clothing store, it was 11:30 PM and there were still several customers trying on outfits and well, shopping. I am very fond of Hong Kong's cosmopolitan ambience and relaxed rules.
